On April 21, 2023, the Legazpi City Water District attended the regular meeting of the Liga ng mga Barangay – Legazpi City held at the Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Legazpi Session Hall.
During the said meeting, the following points were discussed: LCWD’s Operations, Water Supply System, Water Rates, Billing, Meter Reading and Disconnection Schedule, Water Pilferage, the process and requirements for new connection and reconnection application, the challenges faced by LCWD and future plans.
With the active participation of the Punong Barangays, a number of issues were raised and solutions were laid out by LCWD to resolve the same.
The said consultation meeting dubbed as “Urulay-Ulay sa Liga ng mga Barangay” aims to build and strengthen its partnership with its primary stakeholders such as the barangays and engage them on its upcoming activities and projects to improve public service delivery.
