LCWD supports the 15th Alay Lakad Tanim Kahoy Para sa Puso

On February 14, 2022, Legazpi City Water District (LCWD) participated in the 15th Alay Lakad Tanim Kahoy Para Sa Puso, a synchronized tree planting activity organized by the City Government of Legazpi. Spearheaded by the Office of the City Environmental and Natural Resources (OCENR) and the City Agriculture Office (CAO), with support from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (DENR-PENRO), this event is a significant gesture towards environmental conservation.

Aligned with the Legazpi City Arbor Day, the initiative aims to honor and respect the ecological values of trees, symbolizing the resiliency and steadfastness deeply rooted in the qualities of the Legazpeños. The LCWD stands united with the community in the mission to build a green city, contributing to the vision of a Carbon-free Legazpi.
