In celebration of #WomensMonth2022, from March 1-29, 2022, LCWD employees wear anything purple on all the Tuesdays of March to signify support for women’s empowerment and gender equality. Employees also came up with advocacy materials to spark interest and discourse on the celebration and what it stands for. #PurpleTuesdays. On March 22, 2022 LCWD Engineering and Operations department conducted an outreach activity for women survivors of abuse housed in a shelter.

Discounts and freebies to women consumers applying for new connection and reconnection this Women’s Month can still be availed until March 31, 2022. Aside from free inspection fee and discounts, women consumers received free bucket, dipper and soap for Women’s Month.
