USAID enhances Partnership with LCWD in Formal Visit

On February 28, 2023, the Legazpi City Water District (LCWD) was honored to host a courtesy visit from the distinguished delegation of the USAID Catholic Relief Services. The delegation, comprised of Mr. Alan Luis Silayon, Chief of Party, Engr. Dward Bornilla Jr., Sr. Project Officer, and Ms. Bing Javier, Resilience Officer, engaged in a fruitful discussion during their visit.

The focal point of the meeting centered around the Climate Resilient Cities Project, with both parties sharing valuable insights and perspectives. LCWD had the opportunity to present an overview of its programs, plans, and initiatives related to climate change adaptation. This exchange not only fostered a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the context of climate resilience but also opened avenues for potential collaboration between LCWD and USAID Catholic Relief Services and underscored the importance of partnerships in addressing critical issues.
